Opening an account on PartyPoker is very simple, all you need to do is download the software from www.partypoker.com, follow the downloading instructions and create your PartyPoker account.

The first step to playing live online poker is to download the free PartyPoker software.
Simply click to download, and the download process will begin. Once you download the software (2.2 megabytes, which will take a couple of minutes on a 56k modem connection), you'll have everything you need to play.

Opening an account on PartyPoker is as simple as 1,2, 3! Just 1) Download the software from www.partypoker.com, 2) Follow the downloading instructions, 3) Create your PartyPoker account.
Once you click on the PartyPoker icon, a "Login/Sign Up" screen will come up, just click on the "Sign Up - Open Account" button to create your new account.
The Open Account form is all you need to complete in order to
create your account. Here you will choose an Accountname and password,
and provide your name and email address.

To play poker games at our Real Money Tables, you will need to deposit real money to your Account through our Cashier. To access the Cashier you will need to login into the PartyPoker Software (by first Downloading the Poker Software and then later through the PartyPoker desktop icon) and then click 'Cashier'.

We transact in US dollars only. We accept foreign currency but it will be converted to US dollars by your bank at their standard rates conversion.

Disconnections may occur in online gaming. If you happen to lose your connection or have a problem with your computer, you will have at least 20 seconds to come back to the game. If a connection cannot be re-established in this time, you may be placed "all-in".

Chat to you friends and/or make new friends via our chat feature on our play for fun tables. Just type into the chat box and your message will be displayed to all the players and spectators at the table.
If you just like to concentrate on the games, you can easily disable the chat feature by clicking the dealer drop-down box and choosing "No Player Chat" or "Totally Silent" where not even the dealer chat or summary will appear. You can also disable the chat of a particular player by right clicking on the character and choosing "Disable Chat".
Chat safety is something we take seriously at PartyPoker. We have systems in place that will prevent certain words to be displayed and try to monitor the chats as best as possible, however we cannot guarantee our chat to be completely free from abusive or offensive language.
In the event that you experience any discomfort on our tables due to a player abusive or offensive chat, please email Alerts@PartyPoker with the table name and player account name so we can address it properly.

Improve your play by keeping player notes on your opponent. Just right click with the mouse on your opponent's image and choose notes. Type in your notes in the text window. To read the notes on your opponents, repeat the same actions and the notes will be displayed. These are private notes and will be automatically saved once you close the text window and are not visible to others at the table.

When you are seated at a table, just right click with the mouse on your image/seat and click on the "Show statistics" button. Your statistics for the current session will be displayed on the right-hand top corner.

Right click on the dealer's tray and the click the button "more chips" and the play chips will be added to your table at the end of your hand, or the beginning of the next hand.

If you are just a starting out or just want to test your knowledge of the ranking of hands, there is a special feature that tells your "Hand Strength". All you have to do is take a Seat and click on "Click here to view hand strength" and it will display the strong suit or sequence of the hand your dealt.
