Except as otherwise expressly stated in writing by PartyPoker,
the following terms and conditions set forth the rules and procedures
that govern all Player's rights in the event of disconnection
and ability to use All-ins:
If for any reason a Player
loses his/her connection, play will continue. Blinds and antes
will continue to be posted automatically. A Player should log
back on as soon as possible to continue play.
Players will be blinded/anteed
out of the tournament if they do not reconnect.
Players MUST accept the
risk of disconnection. They can and do occur. (Log back on and
continue play as quickly as possible.) To limit the potential
of disconnection, please consult with your ISP as to what measures
can be initiated to help reduce this risk. At no time will PartyPoker
assume responsibility for disconnected players regardless of cause.
If a Player is disconnected
during the play of a hand, they will be deemed "All-in"
(and can win whatever is in the pot at the time of the disconnect).
If a Player is disconnected
while playing and uses their All-ins, The Player should reset
their All-ins upon their return (or the Player will be automatically
Folded the next time, rather than deemed to be All-in).
Players are allowed to use only
two (2) All-ins in a Tournament from his available quota/limit (refer point 12),
due to a disconnection problem.
A Player may request for
an All-in reset by using either of the following two methods:
Go to Lobby -->
Click on 'Options' --> Click on 'Request All-ins Reset';
OR
While at the table,
click on the 'Dealer's Chip Tray' to get the options. One of
the options is 'All-in reset'. Just click it to send an All-in
reset request to us.
On the successful resetting
of a Player's All-in count, the Player will receive a confirmation.
PartyPoker reserves
the right to alter this policy and render final decisions on all
matters herein at its sole discretion. Policy changes and relevant
decisions will be communicated accordingly via PartyPoker
via electronic and/or written means.
Our software is designed
to detect whether a Player had a genuine disconnection before
giving the All-in protection to him. If a Player tries to get
All-in protection by simply not acting on his/her turn and getting
"timed out", he/she is deemed 'Folded'.
All-in resets are allowed
thrice weekly on a 7 days period. This means that before PartyPoker
successfully processes a Player's All-in reset request, we will determine
whether the Player has reset their All-ins more than three times in a week
within a 7 days period. If the Player has, PartyPoker will not reset the
All-ins automatically. (Please contact us.)
There is a limit of 8 All-ins (3 resets)
within a 7 days period.
PartyPoker strives
to offer the best All-in protection to our Players. Our goal is
to protect Players who are accidentally disconnected, while also
maintaining appropriate checks so that the protection might not
be misused.
PartyPoker reserves
the right to render final decisions on all matters herein at its
sole discretion. Decisions will be communicated accordingly via
PartyPoker via electronic and/or written means.
Ring Game cancellation policy
a) REAL MONEY GAMES: Each player will be refunded back the exact amount of money they had at the start of the hand at the time of cancellation.
b) PLAY MONEY GAMES: Each player will be refunded back the exact amount of chips they had bought in when they took the seat at the table. This is done because we do not record ALL play money hand information.
c) SINGLE TABLE TOURNAMENTS: If a Tournament is cancelled due to technical
issues, any Player who was eliminated prior to this time will lose their buy-in and entry fee. The remaining Players will be refunded their Buy-ins and Entry fees and will equally divide up the Buy-in monies from the Players already eliminated, regardless of the chip standing when the tournament was halted.
d) MULTI TABLE TOURNAMENTS: If a Tournament is cancelled due to technical
issues, any Player who was eliminated prior to this time will lose their buy-in and entry fee. The remaining Players will be refunded their entry fees and will equally divide up 50% of the remaining prize pool. The other 50% of the prize pool will be distributed to the remaining players on a percentage basis (based on their chip count when the tournament went down).
